We invite you to come to the middle of nowhere! Leave your hectic school schedule behind and enter into monastic time where the day flows around chanting Psalms, Eucharist, simple work, talking about what matters, appreciating nature, good food and fun... It’s your chance to ask a nun all those questions you’ve always wanted to ask a nun…

Take time...

- to slow down from your hectic pace and experience the balance of Benedictine life.
- to listen, to pray, to become more aware of God’s presence.
- to experience life in a contemplative monastery.
- to deepen your relationship with Jesus Christ and your prayer life.
- to learn about Benedictine prayer and monastic tradition.
- to get outdoors and enjoy the beauty of nature

A typical day...

6:30 AM Lauds (Morning prayer)
7:30 AM Eucharist followed by breakfast
8:45 AM - 11:45 AM monastic work
12:00 PM Noon prayer
Dinner
Dishes
Free time for prayer, getting outdoors, reading, napping, visiting, etc...
4:00 PM Input session on spirituality/Monastic Life
5:30 PM Vespers
Supper
7:00 PM Compline (night prayer)

Registration deadline: February 29, 2008

Cost for the week: $25.00

Plan on arriving by Vespers 5:30pm on Saturday night and leaving at 1:30pm on Wednesday.
