The Association of Perpetual Adoration

The Association of Perpetual Adoration, begun in 1877, is an affiliation of those who by their own or another's request, unite with and are daily remembered by the Sisters in their prayer and ministry.

The Association is founded on the Christian belief in our oneness in Christ and in the efficacy of prayer for one another. As Scripture says: "Then Jesus told them about their need to pray always and not lose heart" (Luke 18:1). And "Do not worry about anything but in everything by prayer...let your requests be made known to God" (Phil. 4:6).

Those who are members of the Association of Perpetual Adoration are assured of a daily remembrance in the celebration of the Eucharist, in the communal praying of the Liturgy of the Hours, the contemplative prayer of the sisters and their service to the Church. All that is required is that the name of the person be given to the sisters to be included in the membership record. An enrollment card is given upon request. A free-will offering or alms may be made in the name of the person being enrolled.
